Start-to-Finish Sunday #31 - Dahlia Tag Card

Took some inspiration from the catalog for today's card. I just got an order late last week that included a new set called Regarding Dahlias. I've got to say that this is an instant new favorite set! And I totally fell in love with one of the catalog samples, so I decided to make my own version of the card.

Another instant fave in the catalog? The Eastern Elegance DSP... Hello, favorite color combination ever! :) There's not much that I love more than yellow and gray, except maybe yellow and gray with aqua. And the combination of Crushed Curry and Smoky Slate is one of the most perfect yellow and gray combinations I've ever seen! Add in Coastal Cabana (and I added some Pool Party too) - Couldn't you just swoon?

Anyway, check out the video below, or over on my YouTube channel.

Hope you have a great week. Happy Stampin'! :)

Start-to-Finish Sunday #30 - Bridal Shower Tag

Happy Sunday, friends! Yesterday I went to a bridal shower for a friend. I have a signature bridal shower present: I get a custom necklace with the bride and groom's initials. It's so much fun searching etsy, craft fairs, and local jewelers for the perfect style for the bride! (Don't worry though, we get the couple a "real" wedding gift from their registry too!) So I had the necklace all boxed up in a cute little kraft box, and I figured a handmade tag would be the perfect way to decorate it. But, of course, I was working at the last minute, so it had to be simple! :)

I used the new Label Love stamp set, and a fresh, bright color combination of Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, and Crushed Curry. And of course, I had to add some Glimmer Paper - gotta have bling for a party! I love projects like this because you can create endless amazing embellishments just by layering different shaped punches and diecuts together - Easy peasy! :)

Have a great week. Happy Stampin'! :)

Start-to-Finish Sunday #29 - Nautical Masculine Card

In honor of Father's Day, I decided today to make a masculine card. Well, also because I needed a card to go with the pie I made for my dad :)

I chose to use the By the Tide stamp set - This set is a carry-over from the Spring Catalog and I'm so thrilled that Stampin' Up! brought it back! The nautical look is very on-trend right now, and I live right by the ocean, so I love seashell and fish images. I did use a Father's Day sentiment on this card, but you could very easily change out the sentiment to make this a masculine card for any occasion. You could also change the colors and make it more of a feminine nautical card.

Check out the video below, or over on my YouTube channel. Hope you enjoy, and I hope you and all the fathers in your life had a lovely day!

Happy Stampin'! :)
