February 2014 Cards Challenge
Gold-i-licious!
Have you noticed that gold is super trendy in the paper crafting world right now? I can't even tell you how many gorgeous cards I've seen with just white or ivory and gold - Stuh-ning! :) But can I tell you a secret? Gold is not my color! I don't wear it, I don't decorate with it, and I really struggle to craft with it. I never know how much is enough vs. too much, and I don't know what colors go with it! LOL :)
So here's what I came up with. Very CAS, some white space, and some accents of gold. The sentiment and the two popped-up stars are both stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Plus a little gold baker's twine for good measure. :)

Love your card. I really like anything that has stars on it and I love the colors. Did you cut the starts out by hand or do you have a punch? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Linda! I did cut the stars out by hand… I wish Stampin' Up! had given us a punch or Framelits set to go with this stamp set, but no such luck. The good news is that the stars are very easy to cut out by hand :)
