Countdown to Christmas - Mini Gift/Treat Bag

Here's another last-minute Christmas idea for you: an adorable and quick to put together gift bag or treat package. I love this one - I've used it for party favors and, well, let's just say I hope my sister-in-law (*Jill*) doesn't read my blog or watch my videos! :)

You could also punch holes in the front and back and tie a ribbon through to make two handles like you'd have on a "regular" gift bag. This one's perfect for some little treats (I used Hershey's Kisses) or a small gift.

Watch the video below, or over on my YouTube channel. Once you get the hang of these little bags they come together very quickly.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a very Merry Christmas!

Countdown to Christmas - Tag with 3D Ornament Embellishment

Hey there! Happy Saturday-Before-Christmas! Can you believe how close it is?! :) I've got a few posts coming up for you this weekend. I've been working on some last-minute Christmas projects recently and I just haven't gotten around to posting them! So I hope you enjoy.

Tonight's project is this fun and simple little tag. I can't be the only one with wrapping left to do, right? ;) I love the idea of the little 3D ornament embellishment, plus the added texture from the glimmer paper and the embossing.

Check out the video if you like the looks of this tag. Hope it gives you some ideas to help finish up your wrapping! (You can also see this and my other videos on my YouTube channel.)

Don't forget! The Stampin' Up! Holiday 2012 Catalog is only available through January 2, 2013. So if you like any of these products, be sure to visit my website or contact me to place an order!

Festive "Box Bag" Treat Container

Ready for another awesome Christmas packaging idea?

This is one of my all-time favorite containers. I've seen it referred to as a "box bag," a "bag box," and a "box in a bag"! Whatever you want to call it, it's definitely totes adorbs! :) And I decided to give it a festive twist by using the gorgeous flocked window sheet from the Candlelight Christmas DSP collection. I love the look because it really lets your treats shine - whether handmade or store-bought, this is a great way to showcase a fun and thoughtful little gift. I also used my new favorite holiday color combo on this project - Whisper White, Real Red, Gumball Green, and Pool Party - plus a little splash of silver!

You can use any DSP on this project - you don't have to use the window sheet. I just need to stress that no matter what you use for the "bag" part, the base needs to be cardstock. This one is wicked easy to put together, but hard to figure out from a photo, so I did make a video. Check it out below, or over on my YouTube channel.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stampin'! :)

Playing Catch Up!

Hey there! Happy Monday. Hope your week is off to a great start! :) Anyway, I posted a project on my YouTube channel a while ago and I keep forgetting to post it here on the old blog-o with the supply list. This is a great project, if I may say so myself - super cute and super easy!

There's this amazing sheet in the Snow Festival Designer Series Paper collection that's made up of adorable 3x3 images. It's perfect for 3x3 tags or enclosure cards like I chose to make. And I also decided to show you a coordinating mini box so you can make your gift cards into a little present!

Remember: You get TWO of each paper in the collection, so that's a total of 32 of these little 3x3 images. Multiple gifts from just one DSP purchase? Awesome! I also share some tips in the video for how to personalize the little images to make them just that much more special.

This is a great project for your own gift wrapping - Come on, I can't be the only one who dreams of coordinated presents organized around a different theme/color scheme each year! :) It's also a great one to have on hand in case any friends or family members appear at your door this holiday season, or you get invited to a last-minute party.

The videos are posted below, and can also be found on my YouTube channel. There are two videos: #1 How to create the box and #2 Tips for personalizing the tags. Enjoy!

Happy Stampin'! :)
